Summary

This qualification enables learners to clarify and implement their own spiritual wellbeing practice, which then provides the foundation for supporting and enabling others. The qualification emphasises the development of maturity, autonomy and self-management. It delivers two levels of benefits to learners.

Supports learners in their own work places and professional roles, as a form of extended professional development, developing their ability to give appropriate pastoral care.

Can be harnessed to their other professional qualifications and skills to develop a career in a more explicit pastoral direction.

Prepares learners to progress to a qualification in a congruent subject area such as psychotherapy, counselling, healthcare, chaplaincy and theology.
