Level 5 Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle: Evaluating their Role in Chronic Disease Development (SRQ)

Delivered at the Institute of Health Sciences in Ireland, this qualification critically evaluates different theories and approaches and explores how and why nutrition and lifestyle choices influence the development of chronic disease, with a particular emphasis on the Functional Medicine approach. It uses a blended learning approach and is a total of 525 hours.

Level 6 Diploma in Personalised Nutrition and Therapeutics (SRQ)

Delivered by the Institute of Health Sciences, This qualification is designed for people who wish to qualify as a Nutritional Therapist, and other healthcare professionals, wanting to gain an understanding of the Functional Medicine approach to managing chronic disease and its potential to apply the principles of Personalised Nutrition. It will also appeal to healthcare professionals wishing to obtain an understanding of the potential role, and also limitations, of nutrition and lifestyle interventions in chronic disease management. It uses a blended learning approach. The total qualification time is 745 hours.

Level 7 Diploma in Subject Teaching (Steiner). Waldorfpedagogik för ämneslärare

Delivered at Waldorflararhogskolan, Sweden, this diploma is a specialist subject teacher training for those who work in Waldorf Schools. It is equivalent to a postgraduate certificate and is 600 hours. The programme is taught in Swedish.

IINH Diploma in Nutritional Science and Therapeutics

Delivered at the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health this self-regulated qualification, aims to equip learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to become Nutritional Therapists. The qualification is mapped to the Core Curriculum for Nutritional Therapy as developed by the Nutritional Therapy Education Commission (NTEC). It is a total of 1650 hours.

Level 7 Diploma in Integrative Medicine (SRQ)

Delivered by the Portland Centre for Integrative Medicine is designed for healthcare professionals who want to gain a sound understanding of a holistic approach and what these complementary therapies are so that they can advise patients of the potential benefits of appropriate CAM therapies and also the dangers of inappropriate use.
It uses a blended learning approach and totals 1200 hours.
