Affiliation arrangements from 14 February 2009

 

Affiliation is the main way that individuals and organisations access the services we provide. You can apply for affiliation using our online application form

 

Affiliation lasts for a full calendar year from the date of joining and can be renewed subject to changes in the fee-structure.
Affiliation with us is appropriate to any individual or organisation that supports our aims and values. We encourage especially affiliation with learning organisations who could benefit from our services.
 
Affiliation with us is not just about receiving services. It is also about becoming part of a dynamic emerging community of people and organizations committed to raising standards, exploring new horizons and shaping the future of learning and education inspired by anthroposophical principles and values.
 
Our primary services to our affiliates include:

  • Enabling learning organisations to develop organically to further their capacities and standards.
  • Developing and helping to implement appropriate academic infrastructures and quality assurance procedure which are in line with the principles and values embedded in the curriculum.
  • Course design.
  • Administrative assistance and ongoing support to course providers wishing to pursue national or international recognition at any level.
  • Providing CPD (continuing professional development) courses for teachers and staff within learning organisations (calendar of events on the website).
  • Sharing resources through a shared database (including academic information for course providers; journals, articles, templates, forms and handbooks).
  • Introducing and facilitating academic research into the programmes, providing ongoing support for research activities, organise and facilitate research conferences across the sector.
  • Assisting in creating and developing dialogue and collaboration with mainstream peer organisations, locally, nationally and internationally.
